Alice Faye Hickman, 64, of Newville, Alabama (Bertha Community)passed away at Dale Medical Center on Monday, October 1, 2012 following an extended illness.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday October 13, 2012 at the Good Tides Assembly of God Church in Clopton with Brother Donald Mills officiating.
Mrs. Hickman was born on July 11, 1948 in Ozark the daughter of the late Maxwell Monroe Watson and Lois Jean Mathis Watson. She had worked as a CNA at Oakview Manor in Ozark prior to becoming disabled ten years ago. Mrs. Hickman was a member of the Good Tidings Assembly of God Church near Clopton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Billy Wayne Hickman, Jr., a brother, Ricky Wayne Watson, Sr.
Survivors include: Husband, Billy Wayne Hickman, Sr.; son, Larry Hickman, both of Bertha Community; daughter, Joni Lee Terry, Wetumpka; four sisters, Kathy Wells, Linda Apolla; Kim Speller; and Sara Lurleen Chadwick, all of Ozark; two brothers, Junior Watson and Jessie Paul Watson, both of Ozark; five grandchildren.
The family would like to invite family and friends to join them for a fellowship meal at the church following the memorial service.
