Allen Eugene Johnson, 55, of Dothan passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2012 in San Antonio, TX.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until 2 pm Saturday.

Allen was born April 17, 1957 in Houston County and lived most of his life in the Dothan area. He attended Dothan City Schools and was a truck driver for 32 years. Allen was a referee for SXW Extreme Wrestling for several years and was an avid fisherman. He was of the Baptist faith and attended Open Door Baptist Church.

Survivors include a brother Marty (Ashley) Johnson of Dothan; a special aunt Faye Richter of Dothan; a step-brother Clay (Tonya) Benefield of Montgomery; step-mother Sara Johnson of Midland City; uncles and aunts, Merle (Billy) Harden of Cottonwood, AL, Ann (E.E.) Theatt of Nederland, TX, Betty Sue (Bo) Monk of Ponce de Leon, FL, Hazel Harrison of Dothan, Betty Anderson of Anderson, SC, Sonja (Arlon) Eldridge of Franklin, NC, Mary (Fred) Arrington of Ozark, AL, Johnny (Martha) Johnson of Lovetown, AL; a special friend Burl Brunson of TX; several special cousins, nieces and nephews
