Amanda Parramore, 26, a resident of Dothan, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Willis officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6pm until 8pm. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to the Wiregrass Humane Society, P.O. Box 1045, Dothan, Alabama 36302. She was born October 1, 1989 in Birmingham, Alabama. When she was two months old, she moved to Dothan, Alabama. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and playing with her pets. She had a special love for her family. Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerald Windsor and Paul and Sybil Parramore.

Amanda attended high school at Northside Methodist Academy and received her Associate of Science degree from Wallace College. She was currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at Troy University. She was employed with O’Reilly Auto Parts in Dothan for several years and presently employed with Lowes of Dothan.

She is survived by her parents, Rodney and Cindi Parramore; her grandmother, Imogene Windsor, aunt and uncle, Sharon and Ross Weyland of Dothan; uncle and aunt, Randy and Mitzi Windsor of Dothan; cousins, Allyson and Darryl Wherry of Columbia, Tennessee; Jason and Megan Weyland of New Orleans, Louisiana, and their children Pepper and Polly; cousins, Addison and Joy Windsor of Dover, Delaware; Ashley Windsor and her fiancé Ben Carpenter of Panama City, Florida; and Aaron Windsor of Dothan, Alabama and numerous extended family members.
