Amy Renee Thomason

Amy Renee Thomason, 51 passed away August 28, 2024 in Dothan.  Born on January 4, 1973, Amy was known for her loving and caring nature often placing the needs of others above her own even during her illness. 

Amy had a profound love for animals, particularly her cherished car Smokey and was a staunch advocate against cancer.  Her passion for photography allowed her to capture countless moments and her deep faith was reflected in her practice of listening to the Bible.  Amy’s life was characterized by her love for Jesus, her family and all animals.  Although she never married, or had children, Amy was surrounded by a loving and supportive family.  

She is survived by her siblings Cynthia Lyons, Barbara Keifer, Vickie Kesler (John), Ron Thomason, Jr (Lisa), Aunts Joan, Jo Manis, and Edna Capri, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews who will continue to honor her memory.  Amy was  preceded in death by her parents Ronnie Thomason, Sr and Barbara Padgett Thomason, and her sister Eva Thomason Gamble.
