Andrew Antonio “Pete” Ousley of Dothan passed away on October 12, 2019. He was 52.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 18, 2019, in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Clark and Deacon Richard Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in County Line Missionary Baptist Church in Slocomb, AL. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 am.
Pete was born on January 31, 1967 to Marshall Hall and Charlotte Sneed. He grew up in Geneva County and later graduated from Slocomb High School’s Class of 1985. After high school, he worked as a truck driver for Barrentine’s Wholesale Seafood and later for Harper Seafood in Thomasville, GA. In 1999, Pete decided to start, own and operate his own company - Andrew Ousley Trucking until his passing. He was known as a hardworking and caring man, who will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Andrew was preceded in death by both parents Marshall Hall and Charlotte Sneed Ousley.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Ousley; two stepsons, Eric (Kimberly) Ward and Gerald Ward; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Ward; four step-grandchildren, Raphael, Kanaka, Kalei, and Eric; three sisters, Gloria Jean Ousley, Charlotte Green-Hawkins, and Gwendolyn (Paul) Ousley-Key; two aunts Irma Jean Sneed and Addie Lee Sneed; one uncle Charlie Hall; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
