Ann Johnson Hardzog of Dothan passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017. She was 84. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017, at 2:00pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Ed Scott officiating and Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing.

Mrs. Hardzog was born on August 14, 1932, to the late Olin and Mary Frances Johnson. She was a member of the graduating class of 1950 for Geneva High School. She also held a BA degree from Auburn University. She worked with the state of Alabama Department of Human Resources until her retirement.

She is survived by her son, John Max Hardzog Jr.; Daughter Frances Hardzog Barnes, both of Dothan, AL; two grandsons, Erick Olin Barnes of Milwaukee, WI, and Phillip C. Barns III (Shelli) of Leesburg GA; two great-grandsons, Phillip C. Barnes IV and Paxton Nicholas Barnes.
