ABBEVILLE. . .Ann Murphy Robison, a resident of Abbeville, died Wednesday night, May 26, 2021, at her home. She was 84.


   Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 29, 2021, in the Calvary Baptist Church Family Activities Building with Reverend Teddy Ward and Reverend Jud Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in Abbeville Memorial Cemetery-East. Holman-Abbeville Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 9:00 until 10:00 A.M Saturday in the Family Activities Building.


   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Calvary Baptist Church “Youth Fund”, 310 Dothan Road, Abbeville, AL 36310.


   Mrs. Robison was born and reared in Henry County, daughter of the late Billy Murphy and Ada Carrie Carr Murphy. She lived in Abbeville most of her lifetime where she was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Mrs. Robison was retired from WestPoint Stevens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Loyd Robison, Sr, two daughters, Libby Hughes and Debbie Gordon, and a brother, Coolidge Murphy.


   Surviving relatives include a son, Harold Robison, Jr. (Sherry), Abbeville; a son-in-law, Chuck Gordon, Headland; six grandchildren, Tamra Bolt (Virgil), Kayla Noggle (Bobby), Jenna Robison, Zack Robison (Jessica), Stacy Johnson and Steven Bradley; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren.


   Serving as active pallbearers will be Virgil Bolt, Bobby Noggle, Zack Robison, Ken Kirkland, Jimmy Brown and Jerry Brown.
