Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery; all family and friends are invited to attend. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-11 am.

Anne McLean, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in a local hospital. She was 73 years old.

Anne was born to George Daniel Tidwell and Mattie Florene Tidwell in Donalsonville, GA on November 7, 1947 and grew up in Jackson County, Malone, Florida. She is one of seven children and was raised on the family farm. She was involved in all activities associated with this way of life. Anne met her husband of 54 years in high school. Anne and Larry E. McLean were married on October 29, 1966 and established residence in Dothan, AL where they operated their family business, McLean Restaurant Equipment since 1994. They went on to have 3 children, Mark, Emily, and Robyn.
In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife and mother, she was also a devoted Christian woman. Throughout Anne’s entire life she had an unwavering faith in God which she shared with those who surrounded her. Proverbs 31 Epilogue: “The Wife of Noble Character” is a direct parallel of Anne’s walk with Christ.
Anne joins in heaven, her parents, G. D. and Mattie Tidwell, her mother-in-law, Lillie Mae McLean, her father-in-law, James R. McLean, and her great-grandson, Preston Grantham.
Anne is survived by her husband, Larry E. McLean; her children, Mark Elliott (Christie) McLean, Emily Anne (Foy) Mann, and Robyn Meredith (Brad) Harrison; her sister, Clara Klippstein; her brothers, George E. (Rhonda) Tidwell, Thomas Tidwell, Thurman Tidwell, Allan Tidwell, and Robert (Lisa) Tidwell; her grandchildren, Andrew (Sherry) McLean, Dr. Foy (Meghan) Mann, III, Kelsey (Chris) Lambert, Cori (Kevin) Grantham, Racheal McLean, Braden Harrison, and Meredy Harrison; her great grandchildren, Emma Kathryn Windsor, Adalind McLean, Carolyne Mann, Blake Lambert, and Lucy Anne Mann; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as active pallbearers will be Foy Mann, Brad Harrison, Dr. Foy (Trey) Mann, III, Andy McLean, and Braden Harrison.
