ANNETTE FAILS ARD
KINSEY… Annette Fails Ard, a resident of Kinsey, Alabama, passed away Friday afternoon, November 15, 2024, in a Dothan hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was 81.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, November 18, 2024, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel in Headland, Alabama with Reverend Scott Garvin officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. prior to the service. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Ann was born on November 29, 1942, to the late Wesley Lee Fails and Vivian Elizabeth Farmer Fails of Houston County.
She helped her husband with their family business for forty-one years, A & M Electrical Construction Company, Inc. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Dothan, Alabama. Ann adored her growing family and spending time with them brought her great joy.
Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Ted Ard; and her brother, Charles Fails.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughters, Starla Hudson (Stan) of Dothan, Tracey Dunn (Jamey) of Dothan, and Stacey Capps (Chris) of Headland; her grandchildren, Stanley Hudson (Sunnie), Zack Nowell (Savannah), Kathryn Whatley (Hunter), Wesley Hudson (Britney), Brandon Capps (Anna Elizabeth), and Emma Grace Dunn; and her great-grandchildren, Penelope Hudson, Jon Page Whatley, Ellie Whatley, Hayes Hudson, and Annichole Hudson.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the Critical Care Unit 3rd floor at Southeast Health for the loving care and kindness shown to their mother during her illness.
