WEBB. . .Annette Horn Clemons, a resident of Houston County, between Webb and Ashford, died late Sunday night, March 27, 2022, at her home. She was 79.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church with Pastor Blake Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Wednesday in the church sanctuary. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 2220 Otis Buie Road, Webb, AL 36376 or to SouthernCare Hospice, 2576 Montgomery Highway, No. 2, Dothan, AL 36303.
Mrs. Clemons was born in North Carolina and was reared in Bartow, Florida, daughter of the late Lewis N. Horne and Lola Mae Carter Horne. She was a member of the Mt. Ararat Baptist Church. Mrs. Clemons was formerly employed by Village Cleaners in Dothan. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Richard Rowlett and a brother, Ted Horn.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Douglas Elva Clemons; three daughters, Julie Rowlett, Tampa, FL; Dana Daughtry (Donald), Bartow, FL; and Tammy Clemons, Webb, AL; a son, Danny Robbins (Melinda), Dothan; two sisters, Ellen Thompson, Cross City, FL; and Marline Pepiton (Brian), Kinsey, AL; a brother, Bobby Horn (Melody), Winter Haven, FL; four grandchildren, Eugene Daughtry, Dustin Daughtry, Reanna Waller (Nathan) and Alex Rowlett, a great-grandson, Richard Waller.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Roger Long, Russ Barden, Ricky Cochran, Rex Kirkland, Brian Pepiton and Tommy Ferguson.
