Annette Windsor Griffin Tillery entered into rest Thursday in Powell, Tennessee, at the home of her daughter, Barbara. She was surrounded in love by her children, Barbara and Bill, Hamp and Dianne as well as her step-children, Ellen and Bob. Annette was born February 14 ,1925, in Columbia, Alabama and resided in Dothan for much of her life.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Mason and husband Bill,son, Hamp Griffin and wife Dianne, two grandchildren, Kevin Griffin and wife Ginafer, Kimberly Owens and husband Jock, six great grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, Muriel Windsor who was married to Roy, Polly Windsor who was married to Burl, Marjorie Griffin who was married to Bailey, a number of nieces and nephews and by her beloved pet, Jimmy.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Wade Hampton Griffin, Jr. who passed away in 1985, Col. George G. Tillery who passed away in 2003, her parents, Jim W. Windsor and Lilly Mae Windsor, five siblings, Sally Stuart, Burl Windsor, Janie Billy, Roy Windsor and Hazel Canady Hall.
We are here today to honor and pay tribute to the life of a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt and friend. At this time, the family would like for anyone here to share their favorite memories of Annette.
