Annie Lois Jackson

Annie Lois Jackson, a beacon of kindness and laughter, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2024, in Dothan, Alabama, at the age of 65. Born on April 21, 1959, in Johnson County, Georgia, Annie was a cherished daughter to the late Willie Arthur and Mary Lizzie Daniels. Her journey on earth concluded in the warm embrace of her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and generosity.

Annie grew up in the loving company of her siblings, and though she experienced the loss of her sister Gloria Jean Cason, she found strength and joy in her relationships with her remaining siblings: Barbara Mercer, Freddy (Barbara) Demmons, Mary (Wilbur) Cannon, Willie (Peggy) Daniels, Larry (Stephanie) Daniels, Kirk Daniels, Bernistine Carswell, Susie (Lear) Credit. Their bonds were a testament to the family values instilled in them from a young age. She also leaves behind her brothers and sister in law, Eugene (Orlanda) Jackson, Michael Jackson and Dorothy (Earl) Lowery. She was also preceded in death by her in-laws Dora Lee and Eugene Jackson, Sr., brothers-in-law Lester and Robert Jackson, and sister-in-law Annette Jackson.

After graduating from Wadley High School in 1977, Annie continued her education at Swainsboro Technical College, and later at Wallace Community College, where she graduated in 2004 with her associate degree in Respiratory Therapy. Her pursuit of knowledge and skill set the stage for her meaningful career.

For 13 years, Annie dedicated her talents to Sony, where her work ethic and amiable nature were well-known. Her passion for helping others led her to a fulfilling career as a Respiratory Therapist at Dale Medical Center, where she served the community with compassion and expertise for 16 years.

Annie's love story with her devoted husband, Adam Jackson, spanned over four decades. Together, they built a family founded on faith and love, raising their children Antonio Lewon Daniels and Ahneysha Daishanee Jackson. The joy of her life multiplied with the arrival of her six grandchildren, Kailan Jaquez Daniels, Kameron Kalijah Deshane Doss, Teony Leshon Bennett, Aniyah Jermaniece Dent, Antonio Lewon Daniels, Jr., and Tory Eurias Daniels. Each grandchild was a precious gift, cherished and adored by Annie.

Her Christian faith was the cornerstone of her existence, guiding her actions and interactions with everyone she met. Annie's heart was truly with her family; she was their stronghold and their guiding light. Her zest for life was evident in her love for shopping and savoring Chinese food, simple pleasures that brought her immense joy.

Annie's kindness was not reserved for her family alone; it extended to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was often described as sweet and kind-hearted, a person who would always put others before herself. Her generosity knew no bounds, and she often shared laughter and joy with those around her. Those who knew Annie will remember her as funny and generous, a woman who could light up a room with her humor and warmth.

Annie Lois Jackson's legacy is one of love, laughter, and selflessness. She touched the lives of many, and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were blessed to know her. As we bid farewell to this remarkable woman, we celebrate the memories she has left behind and the indelible mark she has made on our hearts.

A celebration of Annie's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at Sunset Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 4:00 pm-6:00 pm at the funeral home.
