Annie Lou Mendheim, 93, of Dothan passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017.
Mrs. Mendheim was born August 28, 1923 to Mr. Clifford Trawick and Mrs. Maggie Trawick. She retired after 36 years as the Administrative Secretary for Environmental Health at the Houston County Health Department. Annie Lou was a member of Southside Baptist Church for over 55 years and had a servants heart. She loved God, her family and her church in that order.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Otis Mendheim; son, Ronnie Mendheim, and sister, Doris Mendheim.
Survivors include daughters, June Carter of Kingsport, TN, Cecelia Godwin (Duane) of Dothan; daughter-in-law Shea Mendheim of Dothan; son, Ray Mendheim of Lake Eufaula; sister Betty Hornsby of Dothan; brother, Wayne Trawick (Betty) of Wintergreen, FL; grandchildren, Dawn Gibson( Gary), Keith Carter (Jeri), Kyle Carter (Susan), Elizabeth Thompson(Kevin), Kristi Mendheim, Cliff Mendheim ( Helen), Harris Mendheim (Bay), Kimberly Davis, Maranda Dykes (Adam), Justin Godwin (Michelle), Danielle Atwell (Amory), and great grandchildren, Fletcher and Carter Gibson, Denton and Caleb Carter, Cameron and Caleb Thompson, Sims, Mary Helen and Campbell Mendheim, Charles and Wright Mendheim, Madison, Mason, and Mycah Davis ,Charleigh and Bailey Dykes, Addison Godwin, Kaylee and Kailyn Green.

Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Wednesday June 28, 2017 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Rich and Reverend Eddie Biss officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Tuesday June 27, 2017 at Ward Wilson Funeral Home.
