Annie Vera Crawford, age 93 a resident of Webb (Enon Church Community) died Thursday afternoon January 31, 2019 at her home under the care of Kindred Hospice.
Graveside services will be held at 2PM Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Enon Church of Christ Cemetery with Reverend David Baker officiating and Family First Funeral & Cremation Care directing. The family will receive friends from 3PM until 5PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Family First Funeral & Cremation Care. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Enon Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, C/O Jimmy Kilgore, 1366 Enon Road, Webb, AL 36376.
Mrs. Crawford was born November 22, 1925 in the Enon Community of Houston County to the late Walter and Vesta Wright Suggs where she lived all her life. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to raising her family. Fishing was something that she really enjoyed, especially at Lake Seminole. Mrs. Crawford was also of the Protestant faith.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crawford is preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley Crawford, a son, Derrell Bruce Crawford, a brother, Walter Suggs, Jr. and a sister, Johnnie D. Taylor. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Cargill of Malvern; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ken and Carolyn Crawford and Ronnie and Ann Crawford; a brother, Earl Suggs and two sisters and a brother-in-law, Nell Wiehe and Betty and Robert Taylor, all the Enon Community. In addition, five grandchildren, Eddie (Kim) Cargill, Brian Crawford, Angela (Greg) Brown, Lisa (John) Evans and Pam (Ken) Holt and four great grandchildren, Gavin Holt, Zackary Brown, Austin Holt and Bailey Brown also survive.
Care for the Crawford family is being provided by Jason Shepard, Randy Crenshaw and the staff of Family First.
