Anthony Stewart Danner, 63, a resident of Ariton, AL passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at his residence.

Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015 at the Bethel Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Brother Jeff Downing officiating and Robert Byrd directing. The family will receive friends from 4-6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Dale County Humane Society, 579 Bivins Dr., Ozark, AL, 36360.

Mr. Danner was born June 8, 1952 in Troy, Alabama and lived the early part of his life in rural Ariton. He graduated from Ariton High School in 1970 and joined the Army National Guard serving for 8 years. He was employed with Dale Farmers Co-operative for several years prior to becoming self-employed driving a semi-truck, planting pine trees, spreading fertilizer, and remodeling homes. He was a good Christian man who could do just about anything he put his mind to and devoutly studied his Bible.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Pam Danner; a son Jed Danner; his mother Maxine Danner; a brother Noel (Nancy) Danner; several nieces and nephews.
