Arlene Murray, 90, a resident of Dothan passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014 at a local hospital.

A Memorial Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2014 at St. Columba Catholic Church Chapel with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating.

Mrs. Murray was born June 16, 1924 in Middleport, PA and lived the early part of her life there. She graduated from the Blythe County High School and moved to Reading, PA where she met and married her husband in 1946. She resided in Arlington, VA for 30 years prior to moving to Walkersville, MD where she owned and operated a restaurant called the Village Tavern for 10 years. Prior to moving to Dothan in 2013 she resided in Sanford, NC. Mrs. Murray was a member of St. Columba Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son Dennis Murray.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, William R. Murray; sons, William (Hoa) Murray Jr. and Michael Murray; 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law Elizabeth Murray; sisters, Mary McNabb and Kathryn Hammes.
