NAPIER FIELD. . .Arnold John (Arne) Polce, a resident of Napier Field, died Saturday, November 29, 2014. He was 69.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 2, 2014, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with his nephews, Brian Holloway and Jonathan Seay, and Pastor Dewayne Watson officiating. Graveside services, with full military honors, will follow in Gardens of Memory, between Headland and Dothan. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the mortuary .
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Paralyzed Veterans of America, P.O. Box 758532, Topeka, KS 66675-8532.
Mr. Polce was born in Chicago, Illinois and was reared in Miami, Florida. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He retired as a Printing Pressman with U. S. Civil Service at Fort Rucker. Mr. Polce also retired from the Army National Guard in the Slocomb unit. He was of the Methodist Faith and was a former member of the Napier Field Town Council. Mr. Polce was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Rose Polce, a nephew and his wife, Jeremy and Angel Seay.
Surviving relatives include his wife, Delores Holloway Polce, Napier Field; two daughters, Debbie Velazquez (Sam), and Gina Villanueva (Tony), all of Hollywood, FL; two step-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Jackie Jenkins Holloway, Napier Field; a brother-in-law, Warren Holloway (Judy), Headland; a sister-in-law, Denise Seay (Tommy), Enterprise; nieces, Beth Holloway, Grace Anne Holloway; nephews, Brian Holloway, Jonathan Seay (Joanna), Joshua Seay (Melissa), Joseph Seay (Michelle), Jared Seay; two great-nieces, Jaylie Lynn Seay, and Sophia Alese Seay; special friends, Al McCray, Bill Ward, Ronnie Butts, and Dennis Pustizzi.
Serving as active pallbearers will be his nephews and Warren Holloway.
