Ashley Bullard, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at UAB Hospital following a courageous battle with cystic fibrosis. She was 30.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10-11 am. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Ashley was born on August 18, 1987 in Dothan, Alabama and lived the early years of her life in the Hodgesville Community. She attended Cottonwood High School where she was a cheerleader. Ashley loved arts and crafts especially coloring big crosses. Ashley also loved the water, being at the beach and riding the boat at the lake where she enjoyed being the spotter for the ones who were tubing, and laughed when they fell off.

Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Larry Bullard, her grandfather, Bob Bullard, her uncle, Lynn Bullard, her grandfather, Joe Frank Johnson, and her uncles, Jimmy Johnson and Tommy Simpler.

Survivors include her fiancé, Josh Woodham; her mother, Teresa (Marty) Linder; her grandmothers, JoAnn Johnson and Myra York; her brother, Lucas Bullard; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends; and her 2 dogs that loved her very much, they were her babies, Rimi and Tank.
