Barbara Ann Hartzog Olive, a resident of Dothan, went to be with her Lord and Savior Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Southeast Health Medical Center. She was 78. 


Funeral services for Barbara will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, June 7, 2022, in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Reverend Ray Jones and Tim Willis officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 AM until 10:15 AM prior to the service at the funeral home. 


Barbara was born March 29, 1944, in Marianna, Florida to the late Shelby and Mozell Adams Hartzog. She graduated from Marianna High School and later graduated from Chipola Junior College with an Associates Degree. Barbara worked in the banking industry as a Loan Officer. She was a loving wife and mother, the backbone of her family and after retiring she became a care giver to her family and enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. Barbara was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. 


Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Olive; grandsons, Sam and Max Leger; brother, Donald Hartzog. 


Survivors include her daughters and their husbands, Deanna and Barry Tucker, Pam and Preston Moore, Kim and Richard Leger; grandchildren, Meredith Wiley (Conrad), Mitchell Tucker, Wade, Sarah, Madison, Ryan and Bradley Moore, Reid and Charlie Leger.
