Barbara Joan "Doll" Reynolds, age 75, has made her final voyage from her earthly home to her Heavenly Home on August 12th to be with her Blessed Lord and Savior. She won her final battle and struggle with ALS, of which she courageously fought for five years.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 56 years, Rev. Woody Reynolds; her two sons, David (Gina) and Steven; a daughter, Cheryl; 2 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 14th, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood with Pastor Richard Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:45 to 2:45 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing.

Mrs. Reynolds was born April 21, 1941 in Bay Shore, New York and she lived the early years of her life in Freeport, New York where she graduated from high school. She resided in Central Islip, New York prior to moving to Cottonwood in 1976. Mrs. Reynolds along with her husband founded Christian Ministry where she served as secretary and treasury.

Pallbearers will be Boyd Childree, Charles Earl Exum, Mark Hoffman, Mike Fletcher, Robert Eufurd and Earl Tindell.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made To Israel With Love, Inc., PO Box 7131, Dothan, AL 36302, and/or, Covenant Care, ALS-Dothan, AL Chapter.

The family would like to extend special thanks to our local ALS chapter foundation and to Covenant Care and all of the health care people who were so kind to Barbara. Our love and thanks to Pastor Richard Smith and everyone in her home church, Calvary who always supported her and family with much prayer and Christian love.
