HEADLAND. . .Barbara Tyler Robinson, a resident of Montgomery, formerly of Headland, died early Sunday afternoon, November 3, 2013, in the Crowne Health Care/Rehab in Montgomery. She was 65.



Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 12, 2013 in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Phil Craddock officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Center Methodist Church Cemetery, near Newville. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at the mortuary.



Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P.O. Box 1170, Dothan, AL 36302.



Mrs. Robinson was born and reared in Enterprise, daughter of the late James Chester Tyler and Sara Ellen Farris Tyler. She was a graduate of Enterprise High School and received a B.S. Degree and Masters Degree from Troy University. She lived in Dothan and Headland before moving to Montgomery in 2007. Mrs. Robinson was retired from the Rehobeth Elementary School as an Elementary School Teacher. She was a member of the Headland United Methodist Church. Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Lamar Robinson, and a brother, Ryan Stanthony Tyler.



Surviving relatives include a daughter, Roxanne Robinson Hunter, Cowarts; two sons, Rodney Robinson (Rachel), Spanish Fort, AL; and Ross Robinson (Jeri), Milledgeville, GA; a sister, Brenda Tyler Ratliff, San Antonio, TX; and a brother, Brian Anthony Tyler, Montgomery; eight grandchildren, Shelby Robinson, Mary Caitlin Robinson, Allison Kiser, Jessica Kiser, Owen Tyler Robinson, Lexie Glover, Lacie Glover, and Josh Jones; an aunt, Mary Etta Lewis (Don), Dothan.
