HALEBURG. . .Beatrice Money Bristow, a resident of Haleburg, died late Monday afternoon, March 28, 2016, at her home. She was 88.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M Thursday, March 31, 2016, in the Haleburg Baptist Church with Reverend Adam Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Haleburg Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M Thursday in the church sanctuary.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, 2740 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL 36303.
Mrs. Bristow was a lifelong resident of Haleburg, daughter of the late Otis Money and Retta Louise Holley Money. She was a graduate of Newville High School and was formerly employed by WestPoint Stevens and Judy Bond Blouse Co. Mrs. Bristow was a member of the Haleburg Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Hix and Fauvette Carter, and two brothers, Byron Money and Frank Money.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Elbert Bristow; a daughter, Joy Littlefield (Roy), Haleburg; two sons, Gil Bristow (Vickey), Columbia; and Mike Bristow, Haleburg; two brothers, B.C. Money, Haleburg; and James Otis Money (Betty), Columbia; four grandchildren, Trinity Jones (Zane), Daniel Bristow (Sherry), Robbie Roberson and Lee Roberson (Elizabeth); five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Daniel Bristow, Robbie Roberson, Lee Roberson, Jeffery Smith, Justin Smith and Don Carter.
