Beatriz Kaminski, a longtime resident of Ozark, passed away at her home, Sunday, October 23, 2016. She was 83.
Private graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ozark with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing. Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to your favorite animal shelter or St. Judes’s Children’s Hospital.
Mrs. Kaminski was born August 22, 1933 in Santander, Spain and at the age of 3 her family immigrated to the United States to escape the Spanish Civil War. She grew up on Long Island in Brooklyn, NY.
In 1954, she married Chester Kaminski and became a military wife and stay-at-home mom. Wherever she went, she always made a wonderful home for her family. She was a loving and devoted mother and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Kaminski was of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Kaminski is predeceased by her parents, four sisters, one brother and her husband of 53 years, Chester Kaminski.
Survivors include 3 children, Ronnie Latimer (Dr. Allen Latimer) of Dothan, Chester Kaminski of Ozark and Greg Kaminski of Texas; a sister, Margaret Gross and a brother, Joseph Albo; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Home Instead and all off her caregivers, especially her longterm caregiver, Sandi for her loving care of our mother.
