Ben Johnson of Daleville, Alabama passed away at Flowers Hospital Saturday, May 25, 2024.  He was 66. 

Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 3, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home & Crematory Daleville Chapel.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 A.M. until service time.

He was a retired United States Army Helicopter pilot.  He was a loving and devoted dad, brother and neighbor. His joy in life was to care for those going through dark times and life’s hard struggles.      

Ben was preceded in death by his father; Carmen Lewis Johnson and his mother; Dolores Virginia High, sister; Sarah Lehman; brother; Chris Johnson

Survivors include his daughter; Amy Johnson, Daleville, AL and a son; Brian Johnson, Daleville, AL; his siblings; Carmen Ray Johnson, Colorado Springs, CO, Janis Siemers (Benjamin), Arkansas, Carol Hocking (John) Minot, ND, Tom Johnson (Margaret) Orlando, FL, Mary Millward, Orlando, FL, Lisa Baker (Lee) VA, Nancy Williams, Amherst, NH,  Bill Johnson, Austin, TX.  Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
