Bernice L. Harrison

Mrs. Bernice L. Harrison, of New Brockton, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. She was 94.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Bethany Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Medley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday beginning at 12:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Mrs. Harrison was born December 3, 1922 in Coffee County to the late Jethro and Ellie Sellers Watson. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, her husband Woodrow Harrison, son, Donnie Harrison; daughter, Bobbie Brunson; son-in-law, Shelbon Brunson; daughter-in-law Johnnie Harrison all  preceded her in death.

 

Survivors include two children, Ira G. Harrison (Frances), Alma, Arkansas; Rickey Harrison, New Brockton, Alabama; ten grandchildren as well as numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
