Betty Jane Brackin of Chipley, FL passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024. She was 88 years old.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024, at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Gregory George officiating and Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home of Geneva directing.   

Betty was born in Geneva County, AL on July 26, 1936, to the late Woodroe and Myrtice Arlene Johnston Brackin. Betty worked and retired after 25 years of service from Regions Bank in Panama City Beach, FL. She enjoyed shopping and spending time with her friends from church. She attended Gulf Beach Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Belinda White; one son, Bruce Stinson; and one brother, Glen Brackin.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Telesha Stinson (Christian Jasperson) of Chipley, FL; one grandson, Travis Stinson (Sadie) of Panama City, FL; one great granddaughter, Lilah Jasperson of Chipley, FL; and one brother, Neal Brackin (Maureen) of Geneva, AL.
