Mrs. Betty Jean Penn of Geneva went home to be with her Heavenly Father Sunday, December 6, 2015 in Wiregrass Nursing Home. She was 83.


 


The family will conduct a graveside service on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at 10am


at El Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Penn was born on December 30, 1931 in Coffee County to the late O.C. (Ollie) Grimes. She retired from ConAgra and also Fleming Foods.


 


In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Marshall “Bill” Penn.


 


Survivors include her two children, Austin Ray Owens and Kimberly (Larry) Harrison, both of Geneva; eight grandchildren, Dana (Shannon) Wooten of Topeka, KS., Daphne (Chuck) Beagles of Chancellor, Deidra (Jim) Bedsole of Geneva, Dawn (Bart) Wilks of Geneva, Hagen (Jess) Smith of Malvern, Adra (Jeremy) Talbott of Dothan, Jessie and Josie Owens, both of Newton; fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister, Minnie Lou Watkins of Goodman; one brother, Neal Grimes of Wicksburg; several nieces and nephews.
