Betty McDaniel Warren, age 79, of Enterprise, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Medical Center Enterprise.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Bro. Joel Lancaster officiating. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 on Sunday. Memorials may be made to New Tabernacle Methodist Church in care of Pam McDaniel, 15804 Hwy. 27, Enterprise, AL 36330.
Betty Faye McDaniel Warren was born September 25, 1943 to Glenn and Lillie Von McDaniel in Coffee County Alabama. She grew up on the family farm with her four siblings, three brothers and one sister. She attended Enterprise City School system and was a 1961 graduate of Enterprise High School. Upon graduation she attended Napier Field Technical School, where she learned stenography, shorthand and took business classes.
Betty attended Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church as a child actively participating in Sunday School, Youth and Prayer Meetings where she met her husband of 58 years, Wayne Warren. She and Wayne later attended New Tabernacle where she was an active member teaching Children’s Church, was flower committee chair for several years all while serving in various other capacities of the church.
In 1963 she and Wayne married and from this union came six children. Allison and Renee deceased at birth, Suzan, Matt, Daron, and Amy. Betty was a homemaker and dedicated her life’s work to God, her husband, and family.
As a mom, Betty was a quiet soul with a loving and caring heart. She dearly loved God, her family, neighbors, and friends. With her warm and loving spirit, if you visited her home she asked if you were hungry or thirty offering anything with abundant joy. Many an adult or child graced her home and never did they leave thirsty, hungry, or unloved.
She loved God and believed in his blessing and served him faithfully. And now she is rejoicing in his blessing in heaven with family, friends, and loved ones that had gone on before her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Warren, parents Joseph Glenn and Lillie Von Hollis McDaniel, twin daughters Allison Nell and Lillie Renee Warren, and a brother Larry McDaniel.
Survivors include her children, Suzan Revels (Todd) Samson, AL; Matt Warren (Tana) Enterprise, AL; Daron Warren (Lindsay) Enterprise, AL; Amy Rhoades (Kevin) Enterprise, AL; grandchildren, Drew Revels (Lauren); Devin Revels; Parker Warren; Mattison Warren; Taylor Warren; Emma Warren; Riley Warren; Lily Rhoades; Brody Rhoades; great-grandson, Braxton Warren; brothers, Joe McDaniel (Ann); Gary McDaniel (Pam); sister, Sandra Hardwick, sister-in-law, Pansey Holifield (Gerald), all of Enterprise, AL; brother-in-law, Edward Smith, Evans, GA.
