MIDLAND CITY. . .Betty Roberson Miller, a resident of Midland City, died Wednesday night, November 23, 2016, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility in Abbeville. She was 86.

            Graveside services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, December 9, 2016, in the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery, near Grimes, with Reverend Danny Quincey officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside services. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements.

            In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 2240 County Road 79, Dothan, AL 36303.

            Mrs. Miller was born and reared in Dale County, daughter of the late Willie Roberson and Willie Pearl Dykes Roberson. She lived near Midland City most of her lifetime. Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, James Z. Miller, three sisters, Grace Murphy, Hazel Weber and Jewell Ward and four brothers, Dykes Roberson, Horace Roberson, Dalmon Roberson and Dewitt Roberson.

            Surviving relatives include numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
