Bettie Sue Benson continued her journey with the Lord on September 25, 2013. She was a resident of Kinsey, Alabama. She was 82.

 

Services will be held at Kinsey Baptist Church at 11 A.M. on Friday, September 27, 2013, officiated by Brad Hardy, Pastor, Sam White, Pastor, and Music Minister, Chris Grandstaff.

 

The family will receive friends for viewing at Kinsey Baptist Church from 10 to 11 A.M. Friday, September 27, 2013, one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to Alacare Hospice.

 

Mrs. Benson enjoyed her plants, flowers, crafts and collecting assorted dolls. She was a member of Faith Sunday School Class at Kinsey Baptist Church.

 

Mrs. Benson was preceded in death by Braxton Coolidge Walden, two brothers and one sister, James Mathis, Edward Mathis, and Nell Cook.

 

Surviving relatives include her husband, Ronnie Benson of Kinsey, AL, two sons, Wayne (Diana) Walden of Pensacola, FL, Paul (Debbie) Walden of Valdosta, GA., step-children, Phillip Benson of Augusta, GA, Chuck (June) Benson of Augusta, GA, Rhonda (Chris) Tomasino of Webb, AL, and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and many, many friends.
