Betty Sue Hasty

Betty Sue Hasty, 72, of Dothan, went home to be with the Lord Thursday morning, December 31, 2015.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday,  January 3, 2016 at Webb Baptist Church with Pastor Joel Laseter officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Byrd Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church from 1-2 on Sunday prior to service time.

Flowers are being accepted or memorials may be made to Children’s Hospital, 1600 7^th Ave. Sth., Lowder 512, Birmingham, AL 35233.

Ms. Hasty was born Nov. 2, 1943 in Houston County where she lived all of her life. She was employed in retail apparel sales all of her working career, most recently at Belk’s. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and working at the ball park. Ms. Hasty was a  member of Webb Baptist Church.

She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Verna Hughes, her brother, James Arthur Hughes, her sister, Dixie Davis and a granddaughter, Morgan Hasty.

Survivors include her son, David Hasty (Mitzi) of Webb; a daughter, Kim Trotter (Stacey) of Rehobeth; 3 grandchildren, Dylan Hasty, Abree Trotter and Ashlyn Trotter; a sister, Mary Alice Thomas.
