Date of Service: Visitation will be Friday, November 19, from 6-8 PM at Sunset Funeral Home, 1700 Barrington Rd. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Hugh Kirkland and Larry Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Beulah Mae Davis of Headland passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 70.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Hugh Kirkland and Pastor Larry Elliott officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home and on Saturday from 9:00am-10:00am.
Beulah was born on February 24, 1951 to Jesse James and Realy Mae McKee Barefield. She was an avid church member at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Newville, AL. Beulah had a very strong faith in God and loved her family. She enjoyed people and never met a stranger. Beulah retired from Conagra Foods. Preceding her illness, she was employed by Dinner Bell Café. Beulah had a heart of gold and will be missed deeply.
Beulah was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse James and Realy Mae McKee Barefield; husband, Ronald Dean Davis, Sr.; son, Ronald Dean Davis, Jr; son-in-law, Chip Eugene Gaier; brothers, Willie James Barefield and Billy Joe Barefield; and sisters, Sara Helen Mathis and Mable Virginia Hutto.
She is survived by her daughters, Sandra (Chip) Gaier and Susan (Tommy) McCalvin both of Midland City, AL; brother-in-law that she thought more of a son, Daniel Hartgrove of Ewell, AL; five grandchildren, Jeana (John) Breuer of Midland City, Tonya (Javon-Pi) Scott of Opelika, AL, Tony (Autumn) Spivey, Jr. of Slocomb, AL, Toby Spivey of Midland City and Keisha Glover of Newton, AL; five great grandchildren, Junior Smith, Kenleigh Scott, Natalie Breuer, Landrick Scott and Marenzah Scott; brothers and sisters, Jesse Hilton (Brenda) Barefield, Pamela Sue (Stan) Roberts, Jimmy Ray (Nancy) Barefield and Betty (Tony) Davis.
The family would like to thank Encompass Hospice for their care, kindness, love and support. A special thank you to Ryan, Ashley, Dana, Taylor, Melissa, Teressia, Beth, Shelby, Jennifer, Daryl Bates, our caregivers, Emelie and Laura for making sure Beulah was their top priority and keeping her comfortable.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Spivey Jr., Tim Windham, Jimmy Barnes, Jamie Barnes, Cole Redwine and Brandon Milner.
