Location: A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Matthew Helms and Chaplain John Gormley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1-2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Meals on Wheels at First United Methodist Church, 1380 W. Main St., Dothan, AL 36301.
Billie Reba “Sue” Ford, passed from this earthly life to her heavenly reward on Friday, January 8, 2021. She was 80 years old.

Billie Sue was born on January 23, 1940 to Willie and Katherine Rich of Dothan. As a young adult, she made a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at Southside Baptist Church in Sarasota, Florida. As a middle-aged adult, she attended Wallace State Community College and earned her diploma as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She retired from Southeast Health (formerly Southeast Alabama Medical Center) as a nurse in the cancer center.
Billie Sue is preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Mark Edward Cooley; an adult son, Thomas Michael Cooley; and a sister Verna Kovatch of Wenona, Illinois.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracie Anne (Matt) Helms; one granddaughter, Michele Cooley Nabb; her brother, Herschel (Mary Ann) Rich; her sister, Margaret (George) Rogers; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
