Billy “Head” Yeomans
Billy “Head” Yeomans, age 53 of Henry County entered the gates of Heaven on Thursday evening, June 6, 2019 in a Dothan hospital following an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, June 10, 2019 at Judson Baptist Church with Pastor Brandon Turner and Reverend Gerald Ross officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes for love offerings to be made to Judson Baptist Church, Benevolence Fund, C/O Billy Yeomans, 187 County Road 93, Abbeville, AL 36310.
Billy was born and reared in Henry County where he lived for most of his life. He worked for many years as a warehouse manager with West Point Pepperell before later becoming a truck driver. Billy was a member of Judson Baptist Church where he served as the secretary of the Security Committee, was a member of the Security Team and an Usher.
Billy is preceded in death by a brother, Norman Shane Yeomans; his father-in-law, Wayne Watford as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Yeomans of the Screamer Community of Henry County; two daughters, Tonyia Conner of Screamer and Kristy Rhodes of Kinsey; his parents, Jim and Thelma Ansbach of the Brown’s Crossroads Community near Tumbleton in Henry County; ten grandchildren, Jayci Mazingo, Brianna Conner, Kaden Conner, Kaylynn Rhodes, Lylian Rhodes, Mareya Rhodes and Makai Rhodes; Wesley Watford, Timmy Watford (Penny) and Donnie Watford (Kelli). Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive to include and special cousin, Sheila and Jerry Quinn
