BILLY FRANK PETERSON
ABBEVILLE, AL… Billy Frank Peterson, a resident of Abbeville, Alabama, passed away Wednesday morning, July 13, 2022, at his home. he was 74.
The family is having a private burial at Piney Grove Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Peterson was born in Headland, Alabama, to the late Lee Randolf Peterson and Vera Morris Peterson. He lived most of his life in the Abbeville, Alabama area. He worked as a long haul flat-bed driver most of his life. In his latter years he worked as a heavy equipment operator with Walton Howerton. He loved fishing and gardening. He also enjoyed working on lawnmowers and tinkering with his old truck. He was a member Hickory Grove Free Will Baptist Church.
Along with his parents, Mr. Peterson was also preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Peterson; and his brothers, Wayne Peterson and Morris Byrd Peterson.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his daughter, Emma Jean Ellis (Jim Ellis, Jr.); his son, Allen Peterson (Sara); the mother of his children, Martha Blalock Peterson; his grandchildren, Trey Ellis, III, Emily Ellis, PattyAnn Peterson, and Beth Peterson; his great-grandchildren, Aubrey Ellis, Levi Ellis, and Clayton Barr; his sisters, Mary Ann Owens (Ricky), Margie Peters (Marvin), and Judy Peterson; his brothers, Pete Peterson (Melinda), Kenneth Peterson, Tommy Peterson (Tammy), and Len Peterson (Marie); his brother-in-law, Charles Blalock; and a host of nieces and nephews.
