            Billy M. “Mike” Byrd of Enterprise, AL passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 in Flower Hospital in Dothan, AL.  He was 59.

 

            Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Paul Alexander officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12 until 2 pm.

 

            Mr. Byrd was born September 26, 1953 in Enterprise to the late Billy Byrd, Sr. and Mary Sue Henderson.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Macon Henderson, stepfather, Carl Hinton, and stepdaughter, Julie Adcock.

 

            Survivors include his wife, Christine Byrd, Enterprise; mother, Sue Hinton, Enterprise; stepson, Richard Wilson (Pepper), Atlanta, GA; grandchildren: Coley and Grahme Wilson, Atlanta, Courtney and Braxton Adcock, Florence, AL; sister, Pamela S. Donaldson, Enterprise; stepsister, Sloan Melton (Ray), Enterprise; brothers: Steven H. Byrd and Timothy D. Byrd, Enterprise; sister-in-law, Susan Harnett; numerous nieces and nephews.
