Billy Ralph Mills of Enterprise, AL passed away, Wednesday, August 8, 2012 in Huntsville Hospital.  He was 79.

           Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Level Plains with Rev. Mike Foreman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M.

           Mr. Mills was a long time deacon and member of the First Baptist Church of Level Plains.  He retired as an aircraft electrician with the flight maintenance contractors of Fort Rucker, after 40 years of service.

           He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters, three brothers and a grandson, Adam Mills.

           Survivors include his wife of 57 years, JoAnn Mills, Level Plains, AL; daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Rick Collins, Decatur, AL; son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Cindy Mills, Level Plains, AL; four grandchildren, Jared Collins (Julia) Bern Switzerland; Ryan Collins, Decatur; Amanda C. Mills, Level Plains; Hayley Collins, Decatur; one sister, Helen West Lowrey (Frank) Luverne , AL.

           Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of First Baptist Church of Level Plains.
