Mr. Billy Roberts of New Brockton passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the family residence.  He was 82.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017 at First Baptist Church in New Brockton with Reverend Nate Sims officiating.  Burial will follow in New Brockton City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.  The family will receive friends at the church Friday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 105 E McKinnon St., New Brockton, AL 36351.

 

Billy was born March 18, 1935, in Coffee County, Alabama.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Angus and Jessie Rodgers Roberts; two brothers: Wayne Roberts and Jimmy Roberts; sister-in-law, Louise Roberts; and an infant sister.

 

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Roberts of New Brockton; two brothers: Bobby Roberts (Peggy) of New Brockton, and Fred Roberts (Renata) of California; several nieces and nephews.
