Blake Levoy Dooling, a resident of Dothan, passed away on Wednesday, May 5, 2021. He was 27 years old.
A celebration of his life will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Marks officiating. He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park.
Blake was born on October 3, 1993 in Dothan to Jennie Hembree and the late Richie Dooling. He attended Rehobeth High School. Blake was tender hearted and a quiet man who enjoyed going to the beach, camping with family and friends, and working on cars, having recently attained a job with an auto parts store as a delivery driver. Although he had struggles, Blake was always trying hard to be a better man. He was loved by everyone who knew him, but children always held a special place in his heart.
Blake was preceded in death by his father, Richie Dooling.
He is survived by his mother, Jennie Hembree (Damon Losee); his paternal grandparents, Ricky (Ginger) Dooling and Brenda Ethridge; his brothers, Viridia Hembree, Austin Dooling and Ryker Dooling; his stepsisters, Jessie Holmes, Shannon Boyette, and Morgan Griffin; his uncles, Nick, Zach, and Cody Dooling, Brandon and Mitchel Ethridge; his aunt, Katrina Carter; and a host of cousins, extended family, and friends also survive.
