Robert Blake Wood, 31, of Dothan, Alabama passed away in a local hospital on Saturday, November 12, 2016.

Survivors include his wife, Ashton Outlaw-Wood and their two babies, 16 month old Piper Rose and two week old, Shepard Blake Wood; his parents Bobby and Rose Marie Wood of Dothan; a brother, Ryan Wood and his wife Melissa and their children Rylie Grace and Grayson of Clinton, Mississippi; a sister, Sarah Beth and her husband Matt Powell of Raleigh NC; many extended family members and loving friends.

Blake is a graduate of Auburn University and is currently employed with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers, South Atlantic Division in Fort Gaines GA. Fond memories of Blake loving the outdoors will remain with his loved ones forever. His engaging personality has earned him friends from all walks of life and he will surely be missed by many.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 14, 2016 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Chris Jones and Rev. Bruce Spivey officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Ryan Wood, Shayne Outlaw, Darren Kennard, Josh Cobb, Brannon Vann, James Knowles, Tyler Brackin, and Chris Corley.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Matt Powell, Paul Montijo, Justin "Smitty" Smith, Tanner Clark, Daniel "Tank" Flowers, Adam Stults, Brandon Ziegenfelder, Todd Shipes, Zach Fried, Josh West, Cole McArdle, and Zack Kelley.
