Blondell Barberree of Concord, NC passed away on Friday, November 22, 2024.  She as 91.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2024, at New Prospect Baptist Church with Mr. Craig Harrison officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Samson, directing.  The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday, beginning at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Prospect Baptist Church.

Mrs. Barberree was born in the Marl Community on December 2, 1932, to the late Marida Alexander Crutchfield and Rose Ola Messer Crutchfield.  Prior to her retirement, she worked as the financial manager in the healthcare industry for thirty-three years.  She was preceded in death by her husband, BJ Barberree; son, Timothy Joel Barberree; and a sister, Ruby Nell Harrison.

She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Burns (Mike) of Concord, NC; son, Chuck Dewayne Barberree (Suzanne) of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Wayne Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Kailey Davis, Allison Barberree, Nicholas Barberree, and Dallas Barberree; seventeen great-grandchildren; two sisters, Miriam McKinney of Samsonn and Geraldine Sammartano of Downey, CA; and a nephew, Craig Harrison (Renda) of Samson.
