Robert Jerry “Bob” Taylor, a resident of Webb, AL passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at his residence.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Whitt officiating. Military honors will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Robert Byrd directing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ashford First Assembly of God, 120 Elmer Road, Ashford, AL 36312.

Bob was born August 13, 1941 in Lafayette, Indiana and spent the early part of his life in Rossville, IN. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was employed with Chrysler Corporation for over 30 years at their Transmission Plant in Kokomo, IN. Bob moved to Dothan in 2006 from Ft. Myers, FL. He quickly became an active member of the Wiregrass Patriot Guard Riders and served as their Chaplain. Bob loved Bass fishing and riding his custom-made motorcycle trike.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Taylor; daughters, Julie (Steve) Shemietz and Lori Taylor; step-children, Jennifer Abbey and Joshua Byers; 5 grandchildren also survive.
