Bobbie Nell Mercer Agrella, age 87, of Dothan passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Wesley Manor Nursing Center.

 

Visitation with the family will be at Ward Wilson Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM.  Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2 PM from the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory.

 

Mrs. Agrella was born in Athens, GA to the late Charles and Lavonia Bramblett Mercer and lived in Dothan for more than 80 years. Mrs. Agrella was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dothan for over 50 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and her family was the most important aspect of her life. She also was the hostess for many years hosting at DelMonte and Mr. J’s restaurants.

 

Beside her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband William Agrella; sisters, Jean Sweat  t, and Flora Cutchens; brother, Jack Sailors; and great granddaughter, Rielle Smith.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Shere Harrison (Jamie) of Cowarts; sons, Bill Agrella (Shirley) of Auburndale, Fl., and Marc Agrella (Wendy) of Dothan; her grandchildren, Will Agrella (Rachel), Bradley Smith, Starla Davis (Tom), Allyson Sheffield (Aaron), Chase Agrella, Matt Agrella (Ellen),Craig Agrella (Jennifer), Reid Agrella, Ansleigh Agrella, Joel Harrison (Nikki), Heather Watkins (Cliff); 14 great-grandchildren and a special nephew, Bobby Sailors (Dianne).

 

Flowers will be accepted by the family.
