Obituary: Bobby Earl Estes

Bobby Earl Estes of Chancellor, Alabama went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the family residence surrounded by his family. He was 78.

Funeral services will be 11:00am Tuesday from the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Royce Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 7pm on Monday.

Mr. Estes was born February 24, 1936 in Etowah County, Alabama to the late Morris Earl and Sara Marie Powell Estes. He was a member of the Chancellor Assembly of God Church and was retired from Ft. Rucker.

IN addition to his parents, three sisters, Betty Garretson, Patricia Barr and Dorothy Gail Adkison all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Howell Estes, Chancellor, 2 daughters: Beverly Estes Holland (David), Chancellor, Loretta Estes Spainhoward (fiancée Sherrill Cooper), Enterprise, 2 sons: Mike Earl Estes (Denise) and Mitchell Estes (Debbie) all of Enterprise, step-mother: Margaret Estes, Gadsden, AL, 2 sisters: Paula Dennis, Daleville, AL, Foye Mock (Jack), Kinston, AL, 3 brothers: Ray Estes (Jeanette), Gadsden, AL, Danny Estes (Laura), Talladega, AL, Charles Adkison, Luverne, AL, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
