Bobby H. Adams, 72, of Cottonwood, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, July 20, 2024, at the University of Alabama-Birmingham Medical Center following a brief illness.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., at Glover Funeral Home, followed by a Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at Glover Funeral Home with Reverend Van Clack and Reverend Karl Hudson officiating. Graveside services following will be at The Mount of Olives Memorial Garden, 6345 Gene Terry Road, Cottonwood.

Bobby was born in Dothan on May 8, 1952, to Crawford and Frances Adams. Graduating from Cottonwood High School, Bobby met the absolute love-of-his-life, Nancy. Bobby and Nancy spent 50 wonderful years united in marriage together and were blessed with one son, Josh, whom Bobby adored and enjoyed fishing with a precious daughter-in-love, Lauren.

Affectionately called “Bob” by his grands, who were his world, he was never happier than when watching Harper play volleyball and watching Cauley play baseball. Bobby worked in sales for most of his life and greatly enjoyed building relationships with his customers and colleagues – many of them becoming lifelong friends. Bobby was a devoted member of Calvary Baptist Church of Cottonwood.

Bobby is preceded in death by his father, Crawford; his mother, Frances “Bill”; and his brother, Billy “BJ” Adams. He is survived by his wife Nancy of Cottonwood; his son, Josh (Lauren), and grandchildren, Harper & Cauley Adams all of Daphne; his sister, Etta Adams of Dothan, whom he loved dearly; his father and mother-in-law, Earl and Shirley Tindell of Cottonwood; a sister-in-law, Sharon (Steve) Sellers of Auburn; a brother-in-law, James (Gretchen) Tindell of Auburn; and several nieces and nephews who he adored; special traveling buddies, Danny and Jan Taylor of Cottonwood; and a host of friends who became family spanning across several states.

Pallbearers are James Granger, Chris Love, Sammy Roney, Russ Sanders, Coby Smith, and Brent Taylor. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Adams, Tracy Adams, Casey Anderson, Ken Hart, Kevin Hartzell, and Denson Helms.
