Bobby Wilson Enfinger went to be with the Lord on May 31, 2024 with his loving family by his side.

Bobby was born August 2, 1933 to Donnie and Raymond Enfinger in Foley, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings: Betty Fitz, Max Enfinger, Mike Enfinger, Fanny Enfinger and sons in law, Tommy Kelley and Nelson Adams.

Survivors include, his wife of 66 years, Frances Enfinger, children: Nancy Enfinger, Donna Cassel, Lucy Enfinger Adams, Randy Enfinger (Kim). Grandchildren: Kristan Roman, Alyssa Bone (Rob), Brittaney Enfinger (Lucus), Garrett Derkaz (Alexina), Ryan Cassel, Allison Jordan (Austin), Halley DeLidle, Austin Boyd (Breanna), Kelsey Enfinger, Preston Kelley, siblings: Donald Enfinger and Glenda Bennett (Don), 9.5 great grandchildren and numerous and nephews.

Bobby was a member of the US Air Force and served in the Korean War. After his military service, Bobby began his grocery store career in Lake Harbor, FL where his met his wife, Frances Layfield and married her July 6, 1958. He later purchased a grocery store in Black, AL and began his career with the US Postal Service where he worked as a rural carrier, until his retirement in 1994. He then served as the Administrator of the Hartford Retirement Village for several years. At the age of 70 he entered the pulpit at Oak Grove Methodist Church in Hartford, AL serving as pastor for 6 years. He was blessed with the opportunity to serve as lay speaker and gave his last sermon at almost 90 years old.

Bobby was a good Christian man who never met a stranger. Bobby is happily in Heaven with Tommy, Nelson, his grandparents and many friends and family who passed before him.

The funeral will be at Oak Grove Methodist Church in Hartford, AL on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 at 2:00 pm with visitation at 1:00 pm. Graveside service to follow at Town of Black Cemetery where he will be interred next to his parents and grandparents.
