Bonnie Louise Lohmeyer, (nee Barker) peacefully left this world surrounded by her loving family on June 1,2016. Blessed with a quiet and soothing demeanor, Bonnie was dearly loved by her family, many friends and associates. Born in Toledo, Ohio, she graduated from Waite High School in 1967, and married Eugene Lohmeyer in 1968.

Bonnie and Eugene raised a loving family and pursued many hobbies together including bowling, computers, and watching Nascar. Bonnie developed a wide range of computer skills well before the tech “explosion” and was able to apply them to her various jobs as a school administrator, and data entry specialist. Later in life, Bonnie and Eugene relocated to Dothan, Alabama, where she reacquainted herself with Jesus Christ and became devout and dedicated parishioner at St Columba Catholic Church.

Always active, Bonnie and Eugene enjoyed traveling to visit friends and family in Florida, North Carolina, Georgia and sometimes returning home to Toledo, Ohio.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents George & Shirley, and her brother, George Jr. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband of forty eight years Eugene, daughters Genevieve (Bobby), Margaret (Philip), son Gene (Christina), her brother Larry and sister Jackie.

Among her many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews included are; Jeffery, Alexis, Nicholas, Zoe, Ava, Joshua, Charles (Kaittye, Kolton, Collin) and Andrew. Bonnie touched many lives because of her consistent courage, conviction(s), and determination. She will be dearly missed.
