Bradley Ray Shelley, age 12, a resident of Ashford, died Thursday October 29, 2015 at his residence following an extended battle with cancer.


Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday October 31, 2015 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Troy West officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ashford City Cemetery with Kendall Glover directing.


The family will be receiving friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday October 31, 2015 at the Glover Funeral Home Chapel.


The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Bradley’s name be made to the Radiology Department at Childrens Hospital, 1600 7th Avenue South, Birmingham, Al. 35233.


Bradley was born on December 10, 2002 in Dothan.  He attended Childrens Learning Center in Dothan and attended Ashford Academy in his early years of school.  He loved football, golf and hunting.  Bradley attended Water Mark Church in Ashford and the Oak Grove Pentecostal Church near Bonifay, Florida. 


Survivors include: Father, Brad Shelley (Allison), Ashford; Mother, Bridgett Landers (Jeff), Westville, Fl.; sister, Alexia Shelley, Ashford;  grandparents, Jimmy & Becky Shelley, Ashford; Vicki & Ray Boyd, Black, Al.; Judy & Charles Lewis, Baker Hill, Al.; Ted Landers, Westville, Fl.; Kay Vaughn, Defuniak Springs, Fl.; many cousins & friends.


Pallbearers will be: Brad Shelley, Jimmy Shelley, Charles Lewis, Ray Boyd III, Ray Boyd and Jeff Landers.


Glover Funeral Home of Dothan has been entrusted with the arrangements.
