Brandy Leigh Dillard, a leading light of love and thoughtfulness, passed away peacefully after battling a long illness surrounded by her family on September 18, 2024 in Pensacola, Florida. Brandy was born on September 12, 1975 in Houston County, Alabama, the daughter of the late Garry Mack Dillard and Julie Vieira, Brandy’s life was a testament to the joy and warmth she brought to her family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Glendale Memorial Nature Preserve in Defuniak Springs, FL with her cousin Bimbo Turner officiating.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Ashley Dillard.

Brandy’s journey began as a cherished daughter in Houston County, where she cultivated a life filled with love, laughter, and comfort.

She graduated from Ashford High School, class of 1993. She also attended Troy University and later relocated to Pensacola, FL. Brandy enjoyed her career as a Supported Living Coach for adults with special needs. Brandy’s love for Alabama Football was a pastime that brought her immense joy and excitement. She also enjoyed shopping, spending time with her family, and traveling.

She is survived by her partner in life, Kasey Goodrich, a special mother-in-law Denise Meyer (Ival), Tina Cribbs Dillard, siblings Scarlett Duffie (Skip), Tony Ingram, Jordan Vieira, Todd Norris (April), Tonya Norris, several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cherished cousins whom she loved very much.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions be made in memory of Brandy Dillard to Vitas Healthcare Hospice in Pensacola, FL.
