COLUMBIA....Brenda Carol Bryan Williams, of Columbia, Alabama, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024, at her home. She was 78.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 P.M. CST, Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Columbia Memorial Cemetery with her grandson, Brother Dustin Rivenbark officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 21, 2024 from 1:30 until 2:30 P.M. CST, at Wright Funeral Home & Crematory in Headland, Alabama. Wright Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
Brenda was born October 3, 1945 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Wilbert Ted Bryan and Fannie Alice Allen Bryan of Columbia, Alabama. Brenda was a 1963 graduate of Houston County High School, and a life-long resident of Columbia, Alabama.
Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband of thirty-three years, James O. Williams; her daughter, Vicki Griffin; and her great-granddaughter, Callie Grace Rivenbark.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her daughter, Jennifer Long (Shawn); her son, Greg Griffin (Stephanie); her brother, Jimmy Bryan; her grandchildren, Dustin Rivenbark (Aimee), Raea Parker (Lynn), Logan McKnight, Natalie Griffin, Matthew Griffin (Hallie Kate), Daniel Griffin, and Emily McKnight; her great-grandchildren, Brianna and Adalyn Rivenbark, and Tristyn and Addison Parker. Forever remembering their memories, are her life-long best friend, Sharon Still; her special family friend, Nancy Jowers; and her beloved caretakers, Annie Ford and Wanda Lewis.
